Cathodic Protection & Prevention
Cathodic protection (CP) systems are an extremely effective way of maximising the life of structures, including building reinforcement, buried metal pipelines and vessels, and structures immersed in liquids such as wharfs.
Cathodic prevention is the installation of a CP system during the initial construction of a structure which provides the advantages of lower installation costs and longer asset life.
It is recommended that only fully trained and experienced operators install and monitor complex CP sytems.
Savcor is at the forefront of the design, installation and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of CP systems and has been involved with some of the largest installations in the world.
