Successful rehabilitation of Endeavour Bridge over Cooks River
Savcor has successfully completed one of the largest rehabilitation and cathodic protection installation projects in NSW for the Roads and Traffic Authority.
The rehabilitation of Endeavour Bridge over Cooks River was completed over a 12 month duration and included 640m2 of concrete repairs (wet sprayed); installation of 14 kilometres of titanium mesh ribbon anode and 27,000 lineal metres of electrical cable; and 9,600m2 of anti-carbonation coating.
Undertaken under difficult access conditions, stringent environmental management requirements, and tricky marine traffic management, the project has been successfully delivered.
A total of 27,000 labour hours exposed no major safety, environmental or industrial issues, and produced a high quality finished product. The project represents a “job well done” with the client expressing particular satisfaction with the result.
